I've always felt like a cartoon character when it comes to the way I dress. You know, I wear the same thing everyday but in a different color, pattern, whatever.
Forgive me, I'm completely content with where I've been for the last 22 years.
I bought these Jeffrey Campbell's "Riser Oxfords" a couple of years ago and the shoe obsession started pouring out. I went back and bought the EXACT one for a close friend AND another pair in black. I was foolishly in love with something so temporary. This was my perfect "cartoon character uniform" shoe and I had to exploit it.
After a couple years of wear and tear, repairs and frustration. I decided to finally retire my pair. They were getting so beaten up, no shoe repair man could handle that situation.
Then the search began. I started looking everywhere I could online for this shoe. EVERYWHERE. And then I found the last pair in my size on an unknown website. Jumped at the chance to be reunited with something I've grown so fond of. Now I feel complete again, if only for a little while.
As for summer shoes, I have these sandals in black from Madewell and they are the perfect summer affair. If I could only buy two pairs of shoes for the rest of eternity, these two are my ideal.
I'm really considering investing in this brown pair, I've worn my black pair so much that it only makes sense, right?

Completely understandable. I've considered the same dilemma with shoes that have fit me perfectly and comfortably. I've certainly done it for jeans, it only makes more sense for shoes.
My vote is for buying the other pair. Do it and don't look back.
if you love them so much, then go for it and enjoy :)
I wanna find some cute oxfords for work but I have no idea where to even start :/ help me!
